Our Specialty Services

River Rock

Smooth natural river stone bound in a clear epoxy overlay. The finish is permeable — rainwater and splash-out drain right through, so there are never puddles — plus it's slip-resistant, comfortable underfoot, and hides existing cracks.

Decorative Concrete

Uro Stone — a urethane-bound stone overlay that goes right over your existing concrete. Seamless and porous so water drains through instead of pooling, flexible, UV-stable, and available in custom colors and blends.

Sealing & Maintenance

Protective sealing that guards against fading, staining, and moisture damage year after year.

Our story

A family business, 25+ years in Southwest Florida

Pool Deck Lady was built the old-fashioned way: one handshake, one deck, one happy neighbor at a time. Owner Rose Klempner has led this company for more than 25 years, and the standards she set — honest quotes, careful prep, and artisanal finish work that treats every backyard like our own — haven't changed.

From Port Charlotte across Charlotte, DeSoto, and Sarasota counties, it's the same family, same values, same phone number your neighbors have been calling for decades.

Common questions

Questions we hear a lot

If yours isn't here, call Rose — she'd rather answer it on the phone than have you guess.

How long does a pool deck job take?
Most decks take one to two weeks from the day our crew arrives, depending on the size of the deck and how much prep or repair work it needs. We give you a date up front and keep you posted as the job moves along.
Do you work in my area?
We cover the Tri-County area — Charlotte, DeSoto and Sarasota. If you're just outside it, call anyway; we take jobs beyond the line when it makes sense for both of us.
What does it cost?
Placeholder answer about pricing and what a written quote includes.
When is the best time for installations?
Fall through spring is the best stretch — it's cooler and it rains a lot less. We do plenty of summer jobs too, we just have to watch the afternoon storms and work around them.
Do I need to be home during the work?
No — you don't need to be there. Plenty of our customers are away or at work while we're on site. We send photos day by day so you can see the progress, and Rose calls if anything comes up that needs your say.
How do I book, and how far out are you?
Call Rose at (941) 302-3773 or send a request through the site and we'll set a time to come measure. Estimates are usually within a few days; once you approve the quote, most jobs start within two to four months depending on the season.
Can you go over my existing concrete?
Usually, yes. If the slab is sound we resurface right over it, which is faster and costs less than tearing it out. If there is serious cracking or settling we tell you straight and talk through a rebuild instead.
Is the finish slippery when wet?
Placeholder answer about texture and traction.
When is the best time to seal?
Fall through winter is ideal. Cooler, drier air lets the sealer cure evenly, and afternoon storms are far less likely to interrupt the job. We seal year-round, but a fall or winter date usually means a smoother schedule and a better finish.
How do I pay, and when?
Rose will email you a list of options for a secure payment, or you're welcome to mail a check — whichever is easier for you.
